President

Erin Leigh began her organizing journey at the ripe old age of five, meticulously organizing the stuffed animals on her bed each morning. She continued to keep a strict eye on her family’s spaces throughout her childhood, continuously rearranging and organizing the medicine cabinet, pantry, and living room furniture. But it wasn’t until years later, following her graduation from The College of William & Mary and a stint in corporate America, that she discovered her entrepreneurial talents.

Today, Erin stands as the proud founder of theNeatNiche, supporting and guiding her team as they transform clients’ spaces and lives. Her goal is theNeatNiche’s mission: to offer those frustrated and overwhelmed by stuff a way out of the chaos and into a more vibrant, fulfilling life.

Though an entrepreneur at heart, Erin values downtime tremendously. Outside of work, she spends her free time reading Harry Potter, practicing yoga, traveling the world, and running obstacle course races with her husband, Kev.

Organizing Specialist

Having successfully navigated over a dozen moves in just ten years, all while parenting her three boys, Organizing Specialist Sofia Owen brings an abundance of hands-on experience decluttering, organizing, and rearranging homes to the tNN team.

Her eye for design and flow combines beautifully with her goal-oriented approach to make Sofia incredibly effective at organizing stuff and streamlining spaces. But her gifts don’t stop there. In addition to applying her skills with tNN clients, Sofia also runs her own photography and design company, partnering with businesses and entrepreneurs to create stunning visual content (including photography and website design) that supports their brand.

Organizing Specialist

For Organizing Specialist Heather Gagnon, being an organizer is a dream come true. Highly aware of the visual impact of clutter, Heather excels at turning chaotic spaces into soothing retreats. She loves working collaboratively with clients to identify systems and organizing solutions that support their goals.

A mom of three, Heather has plenty of real life experience in creating and maintaining organized spaces; her clients appreciate her empathetic and practical approach. Her supportive nature extends beyond her tNN role, too: Heather and her husband own their own business, PuroClean, where she works behind the scenes, ensuring smooth operations.

Emily Sterrett

Organizing Specialist

As a mom of two littles, Organizing Specialist Emily Sterrett appreciates the challenges (and stuff!) that come with living a busy life, but she doesn’t let them slow her down. Thanks to her background as a scientist, Emily values order and systems and brings an eye for detail into her work. She loves how the organizing process transforms clients’ lives and homes by creating purpose in each room while instilling a sense of calm.

Emily puts her skills to work on theNeatNiche team, but she also enjoys organizing her own spaces! In addition, she’s into cooking, reading, and spending time in the great outdoors.

Kev Michaels

IT Organizing Specialist

With over 25 years of IT experience, IT Specialist Kev Michaels knows how to detangle technology issues. If your technology feels like a jumbled mess, and you aren’t sure how to get it all straight, don’t stress! A session with Kev will help you tackle your technology and put your mind at ease.

And if that doesn’t ease your nerves, his voice will: Kev is also a voiceover actor! He produces and edits audio recordings for video games, commercials, and more through his voice acting company, aVoiceaHead.

Jerrell Moten
Jerrell Moten

Handyman Specialist

An organized house is a well-maintained house, and theNeatNiche makes it easy to do both. Our resident Handyman Specialist, Jerrell Moten, takes the stress out of keeping your home looking and feeling exceptional.

Known for his quality workmanship and ability to surely and steadily see projects through to completion, Jerrell is general contractor certified and and holds a certificate in masonry as well. He is happy to undertake small and large projects including: assembling items ordered online; designing, building, installing or rearranging wall-mounted shelving; installing or replacing door locks, light switches and outlets, ceiling fans, and light fixtures; hanging pictures; and much more.

Jerrell also enjoys the design and creativity of larger projects; he recently renovated the third floor of his home. In his spare time, he loves golfing, motorcycling, and spending time with family.

Karen Seiferth Hicks
Karen Seiferth Hicks

Team Coordinator

Karen Seiferth Hicks is the voice behind tNN’s office phone line. She works hard to ensure everyone who contacts tNN feels welcomed and supported. Whether that means answering questions about tNN services, coordinating vendors, or scheduling new organizing sessions, Karen fully believes in tNN’s life-changing work.

Her passion comes partly from her own experience: Karen began as a tNN client! She overcame her challenges, and now she encourages others to do the same.

Amanda Barbe
Amanda Barbe

Honorary Organizer

Though Amanda is currently pursuing international work, our About page wouldn’t be complete without her! Amanda Barbe joined the tNN team in 2015 and, as many of our clients can attest, quickly found a natural fit on our team with her inherent skills for organization and her desire to serve.

Today Amanda supports theNeatNiche virtually through her tNN YouTube series, Ask the Organizer, where she shares answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about organizing. When she’s not producing awesome and helpful videos, Amanda also enjoys running, writing, and spending time with her husband, Josh.
